What to Expect

First Time Visitor?

Visiting a church for worship for the first time can be awkward. What will happen during the service? What do most people wear? Will they do something that makes me feel uncomfortable or out of place?

What Can You Expect?

At St. John’s, you can expect:

A warm greeting, yet you can be as anonymous as you like.
Casual dress.
Familiar hymns at our 10:00 a.m. service.
Bible readings, and a children’s message.
Communion every Sunday at all services
A sermon connecting the Bible to eveyday life.

What About Children?

Children are welcome to worship with their parents. During the service, children are invited forward for a children’s message. During the school year, we also have Sunday School starting at 11:00 a.m.

Interested in Membership?

New Member Welcome sessions are offered periodically during the year.
